N.E.L.A is a community of seven neighborhoods that border downtown Los Angeles. It's diversity is showcased in it's landscape, from open hillsides to flatland factories. A community were classic American cars cruze past tumbleweed dirt roads; pathways for the urban wildlife of coyotes, raccoons, swallows and hawks. N.E.L.A's neighborhoods resonate with the sounds of mariachi-polka, wild parrots and motorcycles. It houses the oldest landmarks of the city, a history of dwelling that dates back to the prehistoric, for more than 10,000 years Tongva people camped along it's waterways. It is here where Pleistocene era animals like American Mastodons and Saber-Toothed Cats migrated to the L.A. River-Arroyo Seco confluence, laying down trails reflected in today's railways and highways.
